Graduate Counseling Programs
These graduate programs and courses are offered by the Long Island, New York campus of Hofstra University.
The Graduate Counseling Program prepares individuals to work as professional counselors and human service practitioners in a variety of settings and with a variety of populations from youth to geriatric. This professional preparation program is committed to preparing multiculturally-competent practitioners who will be equipped to promote the mental health and personal efficacy of their clients and contribute to the improvement of social and educational systems. Program graduates qualify for work in schools, colleges, community agencies, business and human service organizations, and their own practice depending on which degree program and specialization track is completed.
