What is the deadline for sending in the application?
Hofstra operates on a rolling admission. This means, applications can be received year round for enrollment the following semester.

What should I include in the portfolio?
Include 12-15 pieces in a variety of media, particularly drawing, painting and 3D work. You may send your portfolio in digital format or bring your artwork in at the time of the interview.

I do not have all the prerequisites to enter the program. What should I do?
At times, students may begin the program and complete the undergraduate prerequisites within the first 12 months in the program. Each situation is different and decisions are made upon meeting with the Director.
