**Attendance at seminar or successful completion of home-study course in “Training in the
Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment” must take place before MFT
269 begins.
***External placement during this course can only be arranged with permission.
NB: Students who might be planning to obtain licensure in a state other than New York should consult the requirements of that state. Some states require students to obtain more than 54 credits of education before applying for an MFT license.
