Comprehensive Examination

Graduate students having completed at least 36 semester hours of course work and in their final semester of study prepare themselves to take the three-hour computer-based comprehensive examination. The exam covers the entire curriculum of core courses and is composed of three in-depth essay questions and a comprehensive case study. The exam is generally given in mid-November or early April, and students are encouraged to study early by reviewing a summary list of questions covering the content of the curriculum.
