Accreditation

Hofstra's M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology and the Au.D. Professional Doctor in Audiology are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The C.A.S. in Teacher of Students With Speech-Language Disabilities is approved by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) for SLP and teacher certification; and by the NYSED Licensure Bureau for licensure as Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
