Hofstra University’s Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center provides a multidisciplinary setting that includes a Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, a preschool and day care center and clinics in psychology, counseling, and reading. The Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic is staffed by licensed and certified speech-language pathologists and audiologists who are responsible for the evaluation and treatment of clients with various communication disorders, such as hearing loss, stroke, stuttering, voice problems, and language delay.
