Aligning Public Health Education to Improve the Health of Society

The Hofstra University Masters in Public Health program and the Bioethics Center sponsored a breakfast lecture in December 2012 from Dr. George Thibault, President of the Josiah Macy Foundation. Dr. Thibault's lecture, called "Aligning Public Health Education to Improve the Health of Society", examined ways of integrating public health concerns and perspectives into the academic training of public health and medical professionals. His lecture was followed by a visit to the new Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine.
