Photos: Student Lobby Day in Albany

Hofstra students joined hundreds of students from across New York State at the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities' Annual Student Lobby Day in Albany, New York, where they learned firsthand about state government and advocacy; discussed Governor Paterson's proposed budget, including NY HELPs, a proposed low-cost student loan program for New Yorkers; and took part in Capitol tours, programs and meetings with alumni, lobbyists and other elected officials.
