  What are the requirements for applying to the programs?

Requirements for the MA in Audiology are:

1 B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or the appropriate prerequisite coursework.
2 GPA of 3.0 overall.
3 GREs taken within 5 years prior to application.
4 Three 3 academic (faculty) letters from your most recent academic affiliation.
5 A 500 word essay describing why you believe you are a unique and appropriate candidate for Audiology.

  Is it possible to complete the MA program as a part-time student?

Yes. However, we encourage students to register for and complete at least 6 semester hours each semester, including summers.

  How should I go about registering for prerequisite courses?

1 Schedule an appointment to attend one of our informational seminars to learn about our MA programs.
2 Submit an application for Non-matriculated status. You can obtain the application from our Admissions Office (516.463.3463).
3 Following that, schedule an appointment to meet with the Graduate Program Director,
