are the requirements for applying to the programs?
Requirements
for the MA in Audiology are:
B.A.
in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or the appropriate
prerequisite coursework.
GPA
of 3.0 overall.
GREs
taken within 5 years prior to application.
Three
3 academic (faculty) letters from your most recent academic
affiliation.
A
500 word essay describing why you believe you are a unique
and appropriate candidate for Audiology.
Is
it possible to complete the MA program as a part-time student?
Yes.
However, we encourage students to register for and complete
at least 6 semester hours each semester, including summers.
How
should I go about registering for prerequisite courses?
Schedule
an appointment to attend one of our informational seminars
to learn about our MA programs.
Submit
an application for Non-matriculated status. You can obtain
the application from our Admissions Office (516.463.3463).
Following
that, schedule an appointment to meet with the Graduate
Program Director,
Dr. Audrey H. Eisen.
