Bibliography of New York City / Appalachian Geology

Compiled by Charles Merguerian and John E. Sanders

The Bibliography of New York City/Appalachian Geology has been compiled over the past ten years by CM and JES to assist us in preparing the guidebooks for the On-The-Rocks field trip progarm and for our combined research efforts. We happily share this bibliography with all interested geoscience students and -professionals in the hope that our labors can be put to good use. The full bibliography is in ASCII text format and can be downloaded from the Hofstra web page (~1.4 Meg file) or it can be viewed on-line in various alphabetical segments (A-C, D-F, etc.). The find command in your browser can be used to search for names, titles, or topics in each alphabetical segment.

We are constantly updating the references and would certainly like to hear about any corrections, omissions, or problems you may encounter. We can be contacted by E-mail (geocmm@hofstra.edu or dukelabs@specdata.com), phone (516 463-5567 [day]; 516 334-7415 [eve]), or by snail-mail at Hofstra University. Happy hunting!
