Areas of specialization are metaphysics, Hume, American philosophy, feminism, and
ethics.

Current work is on autonomy, identity and responsibility. Dr. Wallace has been chairperson of the Department of
Philosophy, co-director of Women's Studies, and is currently a Fellow of
the Center for Teaching and Scholarly Excellence.
