Thank you for visiting the Web site of the Hofstra University Language Learning Center. Following are instructions for accessing the media files available for use in Hofstra language courses or for self-instructed study.

If you experience any technical trouble while accessing the system, please ask a lab attendant for assistance. If you have trouble while accessing the system off-campus or in your dormitory, please call the Help Desk at (516) 463-7777.

If you choose to access the Language Learning Center system from outside Calkins Hall (rooms 205 and 207) or Hammer Lab (Axinn Library East, room 125 B), then you will need to provide your own earphone/microphone headset.

How to Access the Language Media Files 

You can access the Language Learning Center media files by logging in to the MyHofstra Portal.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to http://my.hofstra.edu. Enter your Hofstra network username and password.
2. Once in the MyHofstra Portal, click on the "Academics" tab.
3. Click on the "Language Learning Center" icon.
