Tuition and Registration

(Every field on both pages must be completed in order to process your child's registration. If the field is not applicable, please enter N/A. A confirmation of your registration will be sent via mail within 5 to 7 business days.)

A non-refundable deposit and registration fee of $400 is required to register.
Full payment is due by May 1, 2009.
Registration after May 1 must be accompanied by payment in full.
We accept MasterCard, Visa or American Express.
Please make checks payable to Hofstra University and include the camper's name on the check.

      Discounts
      Only one discount may be applied where applicable.
      • Note: There are no discounts for the counselor apprentice progra.
      • Sibling Discount (not applicable for the Early Early Tuition):
        $50 off each additional child (from same family enrolled) per two-week session, applicable for the early and regular tuition rates only. Sibling discount not available for sports academy camp.
      • Alumni Discount: 15% discount.
      • Full time Hofstra Employees: 25% discount

        Refund Policy
      • Full payment is due for any registrations received after May 1, 2009.
      • Tuition is refundable until May 1, 2009, less the non-refundable deposit of $400.
      • No refunds after May 1, 2009, for any reason, including illness, injury, personal, missed days, etc.
      • Cancellations must be received in writing.
      • It is understood that no credit will be given for camp closings, absences, family vacations, transportation delays or withdrawals.
      • We reserve the right to cancel any registration if fees are not paid in full by May 1, 2009.

      Contract/Agreement
      A parent/guardian must sign this contract on the Registration Form.
      It is understood and acknowledged that:
      • All photography or videos taken at Hofstra may be used for promotional purposes or in other ventures directly related to camp (see Publicity Release form).
      • Enrollment in Hofstra programs establishes permission for a child to engage in all program activities except as noted by the examining physician on child's medical form submitted to the camp infirmary.
      • Hofstra Summer Camps complies with all Nassau County Health Department regulations.
      • Hofstra Summer Camps is accredited by the American Camping Association.
      • Enrollment in Hofstra Summer Camps establishes permission for a child to participate in the instructional/recreational swim program.
      • I understand and acknowledge the risks related to my child's participation in Summer Camp and hold Hofstra University, its directors, officers, trustees, employees and volunteers harmless for any and all injury or loss associated with such participation.
      • Identifying information may be disclosed as required by insurance or other regulations.
      • Hofstra is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

       Extended Hours Program
      Hofstra's Extended Hours Program is designed with the working family in mind.  Our extended hours program is structured for parents who wish to have their children remain under the supervision of camp personnel until parents can pick them up later in the day.  Activities, games and movies will be available for the children, a snack will be provided for each child.  Note: Signing up for this program does not prohibit these children from taking the bus in the morning.  It does, however, prohibit them from taking the bus in the afternoon. 

      $100 per two week session for Session 1,2,3
      $ 50 for Session Four

      Not available on a day-to-day basis.
      All children in this program must be picked up by 6 p.m. in the Physical Fitness Center.
