There are numerous ways for graduate students to get involved in the Hofstra community. The following are some Graduate Student Clubs and Organizations. You can also contact your program director for information about other opportunities that are available.
School of Business Student Organizations
Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development Student Chapter: A forum for degree candidates to collaborate in planning exciting programs and networking events that support their professional goals through a community of teaching interests
ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives): Provides a place for healthcare administration students to meet, exchange ideas, and advance the goals of ACHE at the local level
CATCH (Creative Arts Therapy at Hofstra): Support system that provides mentorship, resources, and a place where students cultivate long-lasting friendships and professional connections
Chi Sigma Iota: International academic and professional counseling honor society, dedicated to scholarship, academic excellence, and community service
CLASP (Clinical and School Psychology Graduate Student Association): Strives to provide a variety of unifying activities and education experiences outside of the classroom
Counseling Club: Student-run professional development organization
HNET (Hofstra Network of Elementary Teachers): A professional community for elementary teachers and teachers-to-be
IOPSA (Industrial Organizational Psychology Student Association): Serving as a source for networking and keeping alumni and students informed about current topics, trends, and events
NTN (Hofstra New Teachers Network for Secondary School Teachers): Alumni group that builds on trusting relationships developed between teachers and university faculty during the secondary education pre-service teacher education programs
