Cheerleading

The Hofstra Cheerleading program is currently comprised of one nationally recognized co-ed squad. The squad promotes school spirit for the University's athletic teams, such as the men's and women's basketball teams. Cheer performances are also requested at university festivals and admission events.

Dance

While there are no auditions for admission to the Dance Program, we do hold auditions (usually the second Saturday in March) for placement in the technique classes, and to determine Activity Grant awards.

Dance Team

The Hofstra University Dance Team is an exciting and competitive collegiate dance team that performs at university athletic events as well as other events held on and off campus.
