During this time, students take the English Language Placement examination, meet with academic advisers and faculty to discuss curriculum, and register for classes. They also move into their residence halls, establish bank accounts, become familiar with Hofstra and the surrounding area, and meet other international and American students. Orientation is an exciting beginning to the student’s Hofstra experience.
