Hofstra is ideally sized, with 8,000 undergraduate students, and offers a wide array of majors - more than 130 programs of study. Yet, we maintain an individualized atmosphere. Our international students find it easy to develop a sense of community, school spirit and a feeling of belonging. Located on Long Island, New York, students enjoy easy access to the cultural center of the world - New York City. In addition, they benefit from the wide array of internship opportunities in New York City and take advantage of the museums, Broadway shows, concerts, etc. Hofstra's suburban campus is easily accessible, near two major airports (John F. Kennedy Airport and LaGuardia Airport), along with abundant public transportation.
