A cooperative endeavor of the Creative Writing Program, the English Department, and Hofstra University Continuing Education (Hofstra CE), offers eight classes which may be taken on a noncredit or credit basis, for both graduate and undergraduate students. The Office of Orientation and New Student Programs can assist you in acclimating to campus and adjusting to the college experience. Counselors and staff offer one-on-one assistance to all first-year students and help with your transition to college life. The office also coordinates Explore Next Door, a series of events for new students. These events have recently included:
