Interested in becoming a Hofstra student-for-a-day? The Hofstra Up Close Program allows prospective students to experience a day in the life of a Hofstra student. During your visit you will meet with a current student who is pursuing a degree in your major area of interest. This student will act as your host for an “Up-Close Look” to what student life is all about at Hofstra. Activities include and are not limited to: attending classes, meeting faculty and staff in your area of academic interest, dining on campus, exploring opportunities to get involved in clubs and organizations, and even overnight stays. Visits are offered during the fall and spring semesters and are based upon student availability and the academic calendar. Because this program requires extra planning and is tailored to fit your needs, please allow advance notice of at least 10 business days for visits to be scheduled.

*To best accommodate you, we ask for two weeks notice of your anticipated visit. There is no cost for Hofstra Up Close other than whatever travel expenses you may incur. Space is limited, and priority is given to high school seniors.
