PATRICIA AVANCENA (Class of 2006, Biomedical Engineering major) has a research internship at a Manhattan laboratory, arranged through Dr. Sina Rabbany, her favorite professor. Patricia intends to pursue an M.D./Ph.D. degree and a career in cancer and stem cell research and tissue regeneration. Patricia also enjoys music - from attending the Metropolitan Opera (like Ben) to singing choir at Sunday Mass.
