Welcome to the Q-8 Alumni Association Web page. We are the official alumni association of Pershing Rifles Company Q, 8th Regiment, Hofstra University, chartered by the Hofstra University Alumni Organization in 2004.We have more than 500 members that have pledged since our founding in 1952.

The association has established the organization in order to "encourage, preserve, and develop the ideals espoused by the National Society of Pershing Rifles, and to provide for a continuation of the bonds of brotherhood born in them while active members in the same."

We provide support for Q-8, Hofstra University, and the Department of Military Science in terms of scholarships, equipment, mentoring, ceremonies, fundraising, and social events.

Any Q-8 alumnus who completed his or her pledging and was a member of the National Society of Pershing Rifles is eligible to join the association. Our annual dues are $50. Make check payable to Hofstra University – Q8, and send with name, pledge year and preferred address, phone and e-mail to:
