About the Office of Foundation Relations

As part of the Hofstra University Office for Development and Alumni Affairs, The Office of Foundation Relations works with University faculty and administrators to coordinate and cultivate institutional relations with private national, regional corporate and family foundations.

Our office works to increase foundation funding to Hofstra by:

• Providing timely and appropriate communication with foundation representatives
• Ensuring the best match between university and foundation interests by use of advance research techniques
• Overseeing strategic and coordinated approaches to private foundations
• Carefully managing post-grant stewardship of foundation awards to Hofstra
