Established in 1989, The Hofstra Pride Club provides additional financial resources and fan support that is necessary to achieve and sustain success in Division I college athletics.
Each year membership contributions augment the operating needs for recruiting, team travel, and to enhance equipment. Gifts also help fund department wide capital projects and bolster scholarship support for our student-athletes.
Methods of GivingMembers can make gifts via check, payable to Hofstra University, or credit card using MasterCard or Visa. Matching Gifts Contact your human resources department to learn if you can double or triple your contribution to Hofstra Athletics for free. For further details please contact the Athletic Development Office at 516-463-1944. Gifts of Securities Gifts of appreciated stock (i.e. stock transfers) are tax efficient ways to support Hofstra Athletics. Designating Your Gift You may designate gifts to a specific sport or sports. In addition, you may designate your gift to the Capital Improvements Fund, Pride Club Unrestricted Fund or the Women’s Athletics Fund. Please be sure to indicate your gift designation with your contribution. Fifteen (15) percent of your contribution will be applied to the Pride Club Unrestricted Fund for operating costs, with the remaining (85) percent towards your designation. Attention Young Alumni!
