Be part of the School of Communication's 15th Anniversary!

As the School of Communication turns 15 and Dempster Hall turns 25, please help the SOC meet its goal of 15% alumni participation by making a gift of at least $15 during this special anniversary year.

Alumni participation is an important way of demonstrating your connection to the school. Hofstra's alumni participation rate is based on the number of undergraduate alumni who make a gift – no matter the amount! This number is used by the U.S. News and World Report to indicate alumni satisfaction with their alma mater. As Hofstra's alumni participation rate increases, so does the University's national rankings and the value of your degree.

The SOC 15 for 15 campaign is part of the University's goal to reach 7,500 undergraduate gifts during Hofstra's 75th Anniversary year.  Generating 7,500 undergraduate gifts in 2010-2011, would increase Hofstra’s participation rate to 15% from 10%, equal to some of the top colleges and universities in the country.
