of WWII. They were converted from repurchased PA-18s, one of which
is on display at the EAA Museum, Oshkosh, WI. No PA-39 saw service
in WWII. |

of British coastal radar during WWII, a generally forgotten WWII role
for the Autogiro. The Radar Calibration Unit was commanded by Cierva
test pilots "Reggie" Brie and Alan Marsh. |
