Entrepreneurial Assistance Program
BE YOUR OWN BOSS - START AND EXPAND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
Join us and explore the opportunity of starting and expanding your own business. Workshops will provide you with the "nuts and bolts" skills required to operate and grow a successful business. You will also receive training and counseling that will enable you to complete a business plan. An Entrepreneurship Certificate may be earned by completing the following three components: Workshops (60 hours of training)

  • Market Research
  • Developing A Marketing Plan
  • Advertising/Presentations

  • Financing Opportunities
  • Financial Management/Excel
Mentoring (Business Participation)
  • One-to-one counseling with business owners sharing their expertise and experiences as entrepreneurs.
Submission of a Business Plan Since February 1991 more than 1000 entrepreneurs have enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Certificate Program. Their businesses were in the planning stage or already in existence and ready for expansion. $495 fee includes manual and all materials (installments available).

Learn Record Keeping and More...

Join us and learn skills to:
  • Create a new QuickBooks company
  • Open and use registers for any QuickBooks balance sheet accounts
  • Reconcile a QuickBooks checking account
  • Track credit card transactions
  • Invoice customers
  • Receive payments from customers and make bank deposits
  • Write QuickBooks checks and assign amounts to specific accounts
  • Create and customize reports and graphs
  • Set up inventory
  • Track and pay sales tax
  • Understand payroll features
  • Create estimates
  • Customize QuickBooks sales forms
$250 fee includes materials. Basic computer skills are required.
