Sixth Annual Scholarship Luncheon and Panel Discussion

 June 7, 2012

The Wilbur F. Breslin Center for Real Estate and The Institute of Real Estate @ Hofstra University held a scholarship lunch on June 7, 2012.  A multigenerational group of real estate professionals agreed to participate. They explored the pros and cons of the way real estate deals were accomplished in the past by very successful giants in the industry and compared that to how their children and grandchildren are now getting the “deals done.” Also, explored was the way the social media revolution has affected the manner in which the real estate community transacts business. Gary Lewi, senior executive vice president at Rubenstein Associates served as moderator and the panelists participating were:

  • Wilbur Breslin, President & CEO, and Zachary Cooper, Assistant Vice President, Breslin Realty Development Corp.
  • Milton Cooper, Executive Chairman, and Brett Cooper, Leasing Associate, Kimco Realty Corporation
  • Edward Blumenfeld, President & Founder, and
Brad Blumenfeld, Vice President, Blumenfeld Development Group
  • Abraham B. Krieger, Esq., Senior Member, Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C.
