Photographs and posters illustrating the life of John Steinbeck will be on view from January 28 to March 24, 2002 in the Hofstra Museum's Filderman Gallery, 9th floor, Axinn Library. This exhibition is in conjunction with the Hofstra Cultural Center's conference John Steinbeck's America: A Centennial Conference (March 21-23, 2002).
Some of Steinbeck's works are The Grapes of Wrath, Cannery Row, East of Eden, The Winter of Our Discontent, and America and Americans. Steinbeck was awarded the 1962 Nobel Prize in literature.
