Tables are part of everyone's life, whether a kitchen table, dining table, dressing table, coffe table or desk. Families congregate around tables; dramas and dreams occur around them. The artists in this exhibition use the tabletop theme as a kind of canvas upon which to make a personal statement. The exhibition contains works by 36 artists using a wide range of materials, including ceramics, fiber, glass, wood, and metal. The works are functional and fantastic. A small sample of the art work is presented here.
