Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY … The Hofstra University Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic at the Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center is now presenting or forming group sessions for Fall 2011.

Women's Empowerment Group: 6:30-8 p.m.
This weekly psycho-educational group focuses on empowering women and boosting self-esteem.
Children's Self-Esteem: 6:30-8 p.m.
This weekly psycho-educational group focuses on building self-esteem and confidence in children.
Teen Talk: 5:50-7 p.m. (to begin October 16)
A weekly psycho-educational group for teens facing a variety of developmental issues.
Thursday:
Divorce Support: 5:30-7 p.m. (to begin October 20)
A weekly Psycho-educational group that focuses on the emotional process of divorce.
Children of Divorce: 5:30-7 p.m.
A weekly group for children of divorce, scheduled concurrently with Divorce Support.
Saturday:
Effective Parenting and Discipline: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
A weekly psycho-educational group focusing on parenting skills.
Children's Self-Esteem Group: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
This weekly psycho-educational group focuses on building self-esteem and confidence in children.
Spanish-Speaking Parenting Group: 12:30-2 p.m. (to begin October 29)
This weekly psycho-educational group focuses on parenting skills. Services are delivered in both English and Spanish.
Divorce Support: 12:30-2 p.m. (to begin on October 22)
