Psychological Evaluation Research and Counseling Clinic
The Psychological Evaluation Research and Counseling Clinic provides diagnostic evaluations and psychological services to adults, adolescents, children and families of diverse cultural backgrounds who are having behavioral, emotional, learning or adjustment problems. Emphasis is placed on clarifying problem areas, developing realistic goals and providing active, short-term treatment. The full psychological evaluation consists of a biographical data review, psychological testing and assessment, an interpretive conference and a written report.
Psychotherapeutic programs for behavior change include: anger management, stress reduction, parent skills training, marriage and family counseling, and counseling for adults and children who have been abused. Consultation with school districts and other professional organizations are also available to develop programs within school and professional settings.
