Educational Counseling
The focus of educational counseling is to help individuals set goals and overcome personal impediments to academic success. Activities in counseling often involve development of methods to better manage time, situational and personal demands, as well as the organization of learning strategies.
Career Counseling
Career counseling is provided to assist students with vocational plans and decisions. Discussions with a counselor are used to explore career interests, skills, and abilities. Various tests are given which provide useful information in these areas. The counselor helps the individual interpret this information and assists in identifying realistic academic and career goals.
