invites all faculty to a Workshop:

ENHANCING LEARNING WITH BLOGGING

Dr. Ethna Lay, assistant professor of writing studies and composition, will explain strategies for using blogs to support learning in all disciplines.   She will share examples of student blogs and blogging activities that encourage discussion and reinforce learning inside and outside of the classroom.   Dr. Lay will demonstrate the use of student‑authored blogs to organize, cite, and share research and will suggest methods for using student writing on blogs as “pre‑writing” for more formal written assignments.
