Scientific and technical literacy advances students’ critical thinking skills so that they can become more active citizens in an industrialized society. Dr. Christa Farmer, Assistant Professor of Geology, will lead a discussion about how professors can help students learn problem-solving skills using problem sets in the sciences. Participate by bringing your experiences and questions.
