Teaching and Learning Centers in the United States

Many colleges and universities have established teaching and learning centers. Although the specific missions of each center and institution may differ, all attempt in some way or another to foster teaching and learning excellence. Many of these centers have web sites that are wonderful repositories of useful materials and information. Hofstra University's Center for Teaching and Scholarly Excellence is continually updating its list of web sites for teaching and learning centers in the United States. Technology is presenting new and exciting challenges to education and many discussions and issues now center on how to effectively integrate technology into the learning and instructional enterprise.
