Dr. Cohen will discuss her investigation of teaching with digital technology. She studied how on-line courses work; developed videos and Power Point presentations; and learned how to use Blackboard. She will explain the challenges she faced and the benefits, insights, and understandings she acquired for herself and her students

DISPATCHES FROM THE FIELD: SHARING CLASSROOM TEACHING EXPERIENCES BY AND WITH EDUCATION ALUMNI
Dr. Libresco's project involved observing effective elementary education teachers in diverse classrooms, discussing their teaching with them, and posting dispatches from the field on a listserve so that new teachers could read about, and be inspired by, models of wise practice from teachers who graduated from Hofstra's program.
