Dr. Longmire will describe her examination of the Odyssey model of study-abroad education and new models of international education.

TEACHERS' BELIEFS ABOUT APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTION FOR LOW-ADVANTAGE STUDENTS
Dr. Torff will review the latest research findings concerning teachers inclinations to provide challenging curricula for high-advantage students but less challenging curricula for low-advantage ones. He will offer suggestions for structuring teacher education to solve this problem.
