Bio:
Dr. Daisy Miller is an assistant professor of writing studies and composition. Before coming to Hofstra in 2005, she was a civilian professor at the United States Military Academy. Her teaching and research interests include students’ professional identity and metacognition, nostalgia and writing, introducing students to writing in the university and the rhetoric of apostasy. She enjoys teaching within the First Year Connections (FYC) program, particularly with the cluster “Democracy in America.”
