Bio:

Dr. Nasri received his M.B.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in management planning systems from Bernard M. Baruch College of The City University of New York. He also holds another M.B.A. in computer information systems and a B.S. in cost accounting.

Before joining Hofstra, Dr. Nasri taught at both Bernard M. Baruch College of The City University of New York and the College at Old Westbury of the State University of New York. He has taught courses in management science/operations research, production and operations management, statistics, quantitative methods, business policy and computers.

Dr. Nasri's work has appeared in the International Journal of Production Research, Mathematical Methods of Operations Research Journal, the Naval Research Logistics Quarterly Journal, the European Journal of Operational Research, Omega (the international journal of management science), the International Journal of Project Management, the International Journal of Quality Science and ZOR Methods & Models of Operations Research. He is also the co-author of a book chapter and numerous refereed proceedings that have been presented and appeared in both the regional and national Proceedings of the Decision Sciences Institute. One of these publications was selected as the Best Theoretical Paper and received the Best Research Paper award. Another one of his articles received a Certificate of Outstanding Research in Operations Management and Manufacturing Track and was nominated for the Best Theoretical Paper.

Dr. Nasri has served as a member of the board of directors, session chair, discussant, campus representative and also as a reviewer for the Northeast Decision Sciences Institute. He is a member of the Institute of Management Sciences and the Decision Sciences Institute.
