Bio:
Dr. Carole Clark Papper, associate professor of writing studies and composition, currently serves as director of the Hofstra University Writing Center. Prior to coming to Hofstra in 2007, she served as director of the Writing Program at Ball State University. Dr. Papper¹s research interests and publications include writing center and writing program administration, writing and new media, technologies and literacies, collaboration, faculty development, and the teaching of research. She offers courses in research and writing on the web, technology¹s impact on literacy and culture, and the course prepping undergraduates to tutor in the Writing Center.
