Bio:

Dr. Neelankavil received a B.Sc. from Kerala University in India, an M.B.A. with distinction from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines, and a Ph.D. in international business from the Stern School of Business, New York University.

Formerly Acting Dean of Hofstra's School of Business, Dr. Neelankavil has also served as Associate Dean.

Dr. Neelankavil has had extensive industrial experience with Firestone Tires, Inc., in Bombay. He has also served on the faculties of the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines, and the Stern School of Business of New York University. He has had visiting professorships at Bocconi University in Milan and at the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands.

Dr. Neelankavil is the author of International Business Management Simulation; Global Business: Contemporary Issues, Problems and Challenges; Advertising Regulation Worldwide; and Advertising Self-Regulation: A Global Perspective. He has presented numerous papers both in the United States and abroad on international business issues. His research papers have appeared in many leading journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Advertising Research, the Journal of Management Development, Management Research, and the Journal of Global Marketing.

Dr. Neelankavil's research has included cross-cultural study of managerial skills, international research techniques, international advertising, R&D elasticity, innovation as a strategic tool, and global strategies. He has been a consultant to GTE, Health Chem, Victorias Milling and Turret Technologies.

Dr. Neelankavil is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Academy of International Business and the Turn Around Management Association.
