Bio:
Dr. Lee earned a doctorate in marketing from the University of Kentucky. He earned a B.A. in Spanish and economics from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, Korea, and an M.B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa. In addition, he completed an M.A. in organizational psychology at Columbia University, New York. His research is concerned with the conceptual development of salespeople's motivation, commitment and behavioral outcomes.
Prior to coming to Hofstra, Dr. Lee taught at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Lee held sales executive positions in the area of international freight-forwarding and trading. He has also served as a consultant to several multinational firms.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Academy of Marketing Science and the Academy of International Business. He recently had articles published in the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Industrial Marketing Management, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, the Journal of Marketing Management, the Journal of Global Marketing and the Journal of Asia-Pacific Business. His articles have also appeared in the AMA Educators' Conference Proceedings and numerous national conference proceedings.
Dr. Lee has taught at Hanyang University and Kyung Hee University in Seoul, Korea, and is presently coordinating Hofstra's summer program in Korea.
Dr. Lee is a recipient of the 1989 Best Article of the Year Award by Mu Kappa Tau, the national marketing honor society.
