Bio:

Ms. Lozano-Healey graduated from Hofstra with a B.S. magna cum laude with highest honors in music. Her private teachers include Julius Baker, Geoffrey Gilbert, F. William Heim and Murray Panitz.

Ms. Lozano-Healey was Principal Flute of the Symphony of LI for 20 years as well as Principal for the LI Opera, Eglevsky Ballet and Moscow Festival Ballet. She has also played with the NY Virtuosi and the Queens Festival Pops. Currently she is Solo Piccolo with the Concert Pops of LI and Solo Flute with the Hudson Opera Theater and the Lehman Woodwind Quintet, which is in residence at Lehman College.

Ms. Lozano-Healey is a flute instructor at Hofstra University as well as at Molloy College. She maintains a private studio at home as well and is a board member of the Long Island Flute Club.
