Bio:
Jenny Roberts is a developmental psychologist and certified speech-language-pathologist. Her research focuses on the early prediction of children at risk for persistent language delays, and she is a member of a team of researchers engaged in a longitudinal study examining cognitive and linguistic precursors of developmental dyslexia. She has collaborated with colleagues in the development of language-based therapeutic tools for children at risk of reading failure, and in the design and execution of a comprehensive language and literacy intervention program for at-risk kindergarten and preschool-aged children. She is also interested in the language development of internationally-adopted children.
