Experimental fluid mechanics, with concentration on wind tunnel studies of airflow patterns and vortex shedding around three-dimensional objects in subsonic flow.
History of engineering education and of aviation. Completed manuscript on “Transforming Science into Pedagogy: The Development of Mechanics of Materials in the Nineteenth Century,” submitted for publication.
