DAVID M. GREEN, associate professor, received his B.A. in history in 1980 and an M.A. in public administration in 1982, both from the University of California at Riverside. He earned an M.A. in international relations from the University of Illinois in 1994, and an M.A. (1996) and Ph.D. (1999) in comparative politics from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Green teaches in the subfields of comparative politics, international relations, and American politics, including courses related to European politics, foreign policy and international organization. In addition to these areas, his research interests focus particularly on European integration, political identity, and comparative mass behavior. He has published articles on U.N. peacekeeping and trends in political identification, a book chapter on European identity, and has forthcoming articles on EU foreign policy at the United Nations, contemporary transatlantic relations, and public opinion on European multilevel governance. Dr. Green's book on European political identity will be published in September 2005. He is also a frequent contributor of political opinion articles to various electronic and print journals.
