Bio:

Katie Sell, PhD, NSCA-CSCS, ACSM-HFI is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Professions and Kinesiology at Hofstra University, where she coordinates the undergraduate Exercise Science program. She currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology, physical fitness assessment, programming, interpretation of research, and sport in a cross-cultural context. Her primary research interests lie in the area of physical activity promotion amongst college students, and firefighter health, physical fitness and exercise programming. She is currently a physical fitness standards and programming consultant with various professional firefighting departments in the Salt Lake City, Utah region.
