Charles Dill

Bio:
Associate Professor Charles A. Dill earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Houston in 1981. He then completed postdoctoral work at the L. L. Thurstone Psychometric Laboratory at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At Hofstra, Dr. Dill serves as a member of the core faculty in the Ph.D. program in Combined Clinical and School Psychology. His areas of specialization are quantitative methods and personality/social psychology. He serves as a statistical consultant to both faculty and students, and teaches courses related to statistic and research methods.
Dr. Dill's research focuses on quantitative methods (general linear model) and personality (implementation intentions and goal-directed behaviors). He has published in scientific journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Journal of Personality Assessment, Educational and Psychological Measurement, Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases, and Comprehensive Psychiatry.
