Comila Shahani-Denning is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY, where she serves as Director of the M.A. program in Industrial & Organizational Psychology. Her current research and consulting interests include the selection of expatriate managers using a value based network, the measurement and understanding of customer service, the evaluation of training programs, understanding the underlying nature of time management, and the role the interview plays in the selection process.

Dr. Shahani-Denning has worked on a number of consulting projects. These include the assessment and evaluation of sales professionals, the development of organizational certification programs, the implementation of self-managed teams, the facilitation of leadership development programs, training evaluation, the assessment of customer satisfaction, and needs analysis. She recently completed a project with the Long Island Board of Realtors to assess public perceptions of Realtors.
