Bio:
Dr. Zychowicz graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in economics, and he completed his graduate studies in economics and finance at Binghamton University (SUNY) where he earned a Ph.D. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designations.
Dr. Zychowicz has conducted research in a number of areas, including the impact of corporate pension policies on shareholder wealth and the role of ownership structure in corporate decision making. His research has also examined issues related to the development, structure and performance of emerging capital markets, along with the application of decision support systems to financial decision making. His work has been published in the Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Investing, the Global Finance Journal, the Multinational Finance Journal, the Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, the Journal of Economics and Business, the Financial Review, the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, and the International Journal of Intelligent Systems in Accounting, Finance & Management. He has presented numerous papers at meetings of the Financial Management Association, the Multinational Finance Society, the Eastern Finance Association, the Midwest Finance Association, the Allied Social Science Association and The Institute of Management Sciences/Operations Research Society of America (TIMS/ORSA). Additional research has appeared in the form of published proceedings and presentations at meetings of the Decision Sciences Institute, the Northeast Decision Sciences Institute and the Florida Artificial Intelligence Symposium (FLAIRS).
Dr. Zychowicz is a member of the American Finance Association, the Financial Management Association, the Multinational Finance Society, the Market Technicians Association and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
